Hard work for Batteries in Winter Temperatures

When you put the key in the ignition to start your vehicle, everything that happens after that depends on the battery tucked away in your vehicle’s engine compartment. When it is cold outside, the engine is more difficult to start, so the battery needs to work harder.

Today mainly valve-regulated batteries such as AGM and Gel are supplied. These chemistries have the same challenge, if not greater, with sulphation, as the ions migrate in gel, and there are of the greatest importance that each individual cell is free of all sulphation.
