## CHARACTERISTICS
### Monitoring
SCL manages and monitors the check-out and return of devices based on various parameters, configurable via software, such as  
work shifts, access to specific warehouse or production areas, and assigned permission or authorization levels, etc.

### Charging
While stored inside the locker, devices are recharged to ensure they are always efficient, ready to be returned, and immediately  
usable.

### Recognition
To collect and return the terminal, users identify themselves using a company badge with barcode, QR code, or RFID, or  
alternatively via a PIN code.

### Maintenance
If the device being returned shows a malfunction or fault, the user can enter a note or RMA via the Smart Charge Locker touchscreen. The system will then send an email notification to the IT department or the designated team for issue handling  
and fault analysis.

## Front End - User interface
- Access control with different functionalities based on user level: operator, supervisor, admin
- Fast and easy device check-out and return: on average 8 seconds for check-out and 15 seconds for return
- Operates also in stand-alone mode (without back-office connection)
- Real-time device traceability: in use by an authorized user or stored inside the SCL
- Users are alerted and guided during both the check-out and return processes
- Monitoring and diagnostics of all hardware components: electronic locks, CPU, charging boards, status LEDs

- Ability to define different user levels: operator, supervisor, admin.
- System notification emails sent to different user groups.

- date and time

- event type (check-out, return, return with issue, login, system fault, initial locker filling, cron job, back-office changes, etc.)
