Trailer Connectors

Reliable Electrical Connections for Trailer Braking Systems

Trailer ABS/EBS connectors are critical components in modern commercial vehicles, providing a secure electrical connection between the towing vehicle and the trailer’s Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Braking System (EBS). Designed to meet ISO 7638 and ADR requirements, these connectors ensure reliable power and signal transmission for safe and efficient braking performance in demanding transportation environments.

Our range includes high-quality 5-pole and 7-pole trailer connectors engineered for long service life and dependable operation. Manufactured from durable materials such as corrosion-resistant stainless steel and robust PA housings, they withstand vibration, moisture, road salt, dust, and extreme temperatures, making them ideal for heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles operating in harsh conditions.

Connectors Built for Demanding Transportation Applications

Reliable trailer connectors are essential for maintaining uninterrupted communication between the truck and trailer braking systems. Our ABS/EBS connectors are developed for OEMs, vehicle manufacturers, and fleet operators that require long-lasting performance with minimal maintenance. Many models offer IP69K protection, TÜV certification, and a durability of more than 10,000 mating cycles, helping reduce downtime while ensuring consistent performance throughout the vehicle’s lifetime

Difference between ABS and EBS Braking System.

Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) prevents the wheels from locking during hard braking. By rapidly adjusting brake pressure, ABS helps the driver maintain steering control and reduces the risk of skidding, especially on slippery surfaces.

Electronic Braking System (EBS) is a more advanced braking system that electronically controls and optimizes braking performance across the entire vehicle combination. In addition to ABS functionality, EBS improves brake response, balances braking force between the truck and trailer, and supports features such as stability control, traction control, and brake wear optimization.

About Trailer Connectors

Trailer connectors create a reliable electrical connection between a towing vehicle and a trailer, transmitting power and signals for lighting, braking systems, auxiliary equipment and other onboard functions.

They are essential for safe and compliant operation in commercial vehicles, trailers and heavy-duty transportation applications

The right connector depends on your application, including the vehicle type, voltage (12 V or 24 V), required number of poles, environmental conditions, and applicable industry standards.

For trailers with ABS or EBS braking systems, ISO 7638-compliant connectors are typically required, while lighting and auxiliary circuits may use other connector standards

Yes. Our trailer connector solutions are designed for demanding transportation environments where vibration, moisture, dirt, road salt and temperature extremes are common.

Selected products feature durable materials, corrosion-resistant components, and high IP ratings to ensure reliable long-term performance.

Yes. In addition to standard trailer connectors, we can support customized solutions, including customer-specific configurations, cable assemblies, branding, and connector adaptations for OEMs and specialized vehicle manufacturers.

Trailer connectors are widely used in commercial vehicles, heavy trucks, trailers, buses, agriculture, construction equipment and other transportation applications where dependable electrical connections are required for lighting, braking and vehicle communication systems

Looking for a right connection?

Reliable trailer connections are important for safe braking system  in demanding transportation applications.
