AK ABS Connectors ISO 7638 – ADR

Connectors with type-test approval mark by the TÜV.

 

The connectors are used for the electrical connections of the braking systems between towing and towed vehicles.

 

The plug will be stored in the parking socket when not in use.

 

The 5-pole connectors are used for ABS-systems.

 

Possibilities of cable sealing:
Sealing disc (seals the single wire)
Jacket seal (seals the jacket cable)
Lamellar cap seal (seals the jacket cable)

 

Tightening torque

Trumpet cap with jacket seal: 10 + 2/0 Nm
Trumpet cap with sealing disc: 15 + 2/-2 Nm
Lamellar cap: 10 + 2/0 Nm
PG-cap with jacket seal: 15 + 2/-2 Nm
PG-cap with sealing disc: 15 + 2/-2 Nm
Cap nut PG 16/PG 21: 3 + 0.5/0 Nm
Strain relief for trumpet cap: 2.0 + 0.2/0 Nm
Strain relief for lamellar cap: 1.0 + 0.2/0 Nm
