Arbor Ruby 10 is a rugged 10.1-inch Android tablet designed for demanding environments in retail, logistics, and warehouse operations. Featuring an integrated Zebra 4710 1D/2D barcode scanner and NFC contactless payment support, the Ruby 10 combines mobile point-of-sale (POS), inventory management, and barcode scanning capabilities in a single device.

 

Rugged Design for Demanding Environments

The Ruby 10 is IP65-rated for dust and water protection and offers drop resistance from heights of up to 1.2 meters. Its durable construction makes it suitable for daily use in demanding environments such as warehouses, retail stores, and logistics facilities.

The hot-swappable battery system allows the battery to be replaced during operation without shutting down the device, supporting continuous mobile computing throughout the workday.

 

Integrated Barcode Scanning

The built-in Zebra 4710 barcode scanner supports 1D and 2D barcode scanning, eliminating the need for an additional handheld scanner. It helps streamline inventory management, stock handling, order picking, and other mobile workflows. The high-performance scan engine is designed to read barcodes quickly and reliably, including damaged codes and codes in low-light conditions.

 

NFC and Contactless Payments

It features NFC support and EMVCo certification for contactless payment applications. Its Tap on Front design integrates the NFC reader directly into the screen, enabling intuitive and seamless transactions.

The device supports EMV chip cards and mobile payments and can be upgraded to SoftPOS, according to the manufacturer's information. Its rugged design and financial-grade encryption make it suitable for mobile POS, logistics payments, and self-service checkout applications.

Powered by the MediaTek MT8781 octa-core processor, the Ruby 10 comes preloaded with Android 14 and supports upgrades to Android 16. It features a 10.1-inch IPS TFT LCD display with WXGA resolution (800 x 1280) and a typical brightness of 520 cd/m².

With Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and 2G, 3G, and 4G connectivity, the Ruby 10 offers flexible connectivity options for professional mobile applications.
