Description
All vehicles have blind spots – areas around the vehicle that are obscured to the driver by bodywork or machinery. Notably, these blind spots become more critical in the context of large heavy-duty vehicles, amplifying the potential risks they pose on the road. When the driver is performing a manoeuvre, blind spots pose a significant danger to anything or anyone in the vehicle’s path.
A staggering number of collisions involving vulnerable road users occur regularly because they are unaware of the blind spots surrounding a vehicle, leading to a collision as they have not been spotted by the driver.
Backeye®360 AI Intelligent detection is a 360-degree high-definition four-camera system enhanced by state-of-the-art AI technology to identify humans and effectively eliminate all blind spots.
Providing a comprehensive view of the surrounding area in a single image, Backeye®360 AI audibly and visually alerts the driver when a person is detected using artificial intelligence.
