CP Cases 19-inch Amazon Racks

Amazon Racks combine the tough resilience of a rotomoulded double lid rack case with a lightweight 19” chassis and a unique elastomeric suspension system.

 

They are designed to protect more fragile equipment, including electronics, IT and telecommunications, from challenging physical and climatic environments though the 5 x Climate Zones from the Tropics to the Polar caps. Sway space between the rack frame and the rotomoulded rack case outer body allows for maximum chassis excursion, thereby minimising shock, vibration and impact damage during rough handling and demanding applications.

 

CP Cases Amazon Racks feature all of the benefits of our range of Amazon Cases, including the patented male-female lid groove to prevent lid displacement due to sideways forces.

 

End-user adjustable

Flexible rack positioning allows you to fix the inner frame closer to the front or the rear of the case. All Amazon Racks (excluding the removable ‘EasyGlide’ option) have a user-adjustable inner rack chassis that can be positioned 25mm forward or back from its (factory fitted) central position. This flexibility enables you to accommodate a range of front panel and rear wiring requirements.

 

Anti-vibration solutions for transporting electronic equipment

Each standard Amazon Rack has eight elastomeric anti-vibration mounts (AVMs) set at a 45° angle towards centre of the rack frame. This provides an optimised shock protection system in all orientations. Every AVM system is calibrated to best match the shock / vibration requirements of the equipment. If fragility data is known, we provide the best suited attenuation to protect the electronics.

 

Stiffer elastomeric mounts are available for payloads in excess of 50kg. Elastomeric mounts can also be fitted in tandem at each corner of the internal suspended frame, to give a total of 16 anti-vibration mounts.

 

WRM (wire rope mounts) are another chassis suspension option we can provide  – where repeated high levels of shock and / or severe drop conditions prevail.
