E-T-A CPC12 Bus Controller

CPC12 Bus Controller is an intelligent bus controller for 24 V DC power distribution, protection, and monitoring in machine building and industrial automation.

Continuous monitoring collects status information and measurement data from connected electronic REX circuit protection devices. An integrated web server provides direct access to system data for monitoring and diagnostics, while the fieldbus interface enables communication with higher-level control systems.

A separate 24 V DC power supply allows the CPC12 and the connected circuit protection devices to be powered independently of each other. This contributes to reliable system monitoring and simplifies troubleshooting.

The modular ControlPlex® system combines the CPC12 with power supply modules, electronic circuit protection devices, and potential distribution modules. Its compact design saves valuable space in the control cabinet while allowing the system to be configured and expanded flexibly.

Continuous load monitoring enables early detection of abnormal operating conditions and helps identify potential problems before they lead to unnecessary downtime.

Depending on the version, the CPC12 supports PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, and Modbus TCP for integration with higher-level automation and control systems.
