The SM switch is available for power-duty switching up to 11 A (Vac) or 1/4 HP (Vac)

 

The Honeywell MICRO SWITCH™ SM Series is used in a wide range of demanding applications. It supports precision switch assemblies in commercial aircraft, such as systems that monitor whether doors are in the “closed” and “locked” position, as well as landing gear monitoring functions. The series is also used in cockpit control assemblies, including pushbuttons, toggle controls, and joystick mechanisms. Beyond aviation, the SM Series is integrated into precision switch assemblies for military equipment, industrial pressure and temperature switch systems, and fuel level monitoring applications in gas and oil power generation.
