Description

DC charging cable IEC from ICC delivers safe and efficient charging for electric vehicles. It supports Mode 4 charging as defined in IEC 61851-1. As a result, the cable ensures fast and direct energy transfer between a charging station and an electric vehicle.

The cable complies with IEC 62893-4-1 and offers a rated voltage up to 1.8 kV DC. Conductor sizes reach 95 mm², which makes the cable suitable for high-power charging stations. Therefore, operators can meet the growing demand for faster and more reliable charging.

The DC charging cable IEC 126 works reliably even in tough conditions. It operates from –25°C to +90°C and resists sunlight, water, and chemical exposure. In addition, halogen-free insulation and sheathing follow IEC 62893-1 standards. Flame-retardant performance also meets IEC 60332-1-2. Consequently, the cable delivers long service life in both fixed and mobile installations.

ICC uses class 5 and 6 copper conductors according to IEC 60228. This design provides flexibility even in large cross-sections. Furthermore, installers can handle and route the cable easily, which reduces installation time and effort.

The product holds UL-EU certification and meets strict international safety requirements. Versions with twisted or bundled control conductors also support communication as required by EN 61851-1 and EN 62196.
