NevadaNano MPS™ Flammable Gas Sensor 6.0 UL

NevadaNano’s MPS Ultra Low Power (ULP) Flammable Gas Sensor builds upon its fifth-generation predecessor and boasts an average power consumption that has been reduced by a factor of 20 to 1.35mW. The MPS™ 6.0 Ultra Low Power Flammable Gas Sensor comes in a standard S4 (4-pin) form factor. It is intrinsically safe for certified applications.

 

Meets rigorous gas detection performance standards
Ideal for gas detection in hazardous locations, the MPS 6.0 Ultra Low Power Gas Sensor is compliant with the rigorous IEC 60079-29-1 Ed 2.1 Annex A standard.

 

Rapid start-up and response time
The MPS 6.0 Flammable Gas Sensor detects over a dozen of the most common combustible gases, including Hydrogen and begins checking for gas as early as 34 seconds after power on and a fast response time (T90) <20 seconds.

 

The MPS™ sensor has a very wide operating range of -40°C to 75°C with up to 100% relative humidity It has built-in environmental compensation and automatic self-testing that continuously evaluates the system to ensure it is operating to specification. The sensor is certified for all flammable gas environments with ATEX, UL and IECEx certifications.
