Schlegel Honeycomb Vent Panels

The honeycomb vent acts as a waveguide, attenuating electromagnetic waves through a network of tubes. A 3.18 mm cell should be at least 12.7 mm long for optimal shielding. The honeycomb material is lightweight, provides good airflow, and offers high shielding performance.

We use 5052 aluminum foil, which provides strength and corrosion resistance according to MIL-C-7438. This material is used in the aerospace industry for high quality and repeatability. We offer seven frame styles, with some corners welded to reduce production costs. All frame styles come with a conductive gasket for optimal electrical contact.
