Description
The THN 15WIR series is a family of rugged 15-watt DC/DC converters from Traco Power designed for highest reliability in harsh environments. The converters have increased resistance to electromagnetic interference, shock/vibration and temperature fluctuations.
Approvals to EN 50155 and EN 61373 standards qualify them for railway and transport systems. Certification for fire behaviour of components according to EN 45545-2 as well as safety approval according to IEC/EN 60950-1, UL60950-1 support a possible compliance testing of the application. Built-in EMI 55022 class A filter, undervoltage lockout protection, short-circuit protection, remote On/Off function and the possibility to adjust the output voltage are additional features that facilitate integration.
