REX System – Your All-in-One Solution for 24 V DC Applications

The REX system is E-T-A’s modular solution for 24 V DC power supply, electronic overcurrent protection, power distribution, monitoring and diagnostics in machine building and industrial automation.

The system combines EM12 supply modules, REX12 and REX22D electronic circuit protectors, CPC12 ControlPlex® bus controllers and PM12-T potential distribution modules in one coordinated solution. Designed specifically for the requirements of machine building, the REX system simplifies the electrical and mechanical connection of the individual modules without the need for additional accessories such as bridges or busbars.

The modular system architecture provides flexibility during planning, installation and later modifications. Individual circuit protectors can be easily replaced, while the system can be adapted and expanded according to the requirements of the application.

In addition to reliable 24 V DC protection and power distribution, the COM system provides monitoring, communication and diagnostic functions. The CPC12 ControlPlex® bus controllers collect status information and measurement values from the connected circuit protectors and enable control and parameterisation. The integrated web server of the CPC12 also provides access to system data for commissioning, maintenance and diagnostics.

With compact modules, integrated connection technology and detailed system transparency, the REX system helps reduce installation effort and control cabinet space while supporting efficient troubleshooting, remote diagnostics and increased machine availability.
